in Cary, N.C. She is a co-founder and board member of Diversity Alliance for
Science, Inc. and a Triangle Business Impact Leader for 2008. Soyka-Smith is the
founder of Soyka Smith Design Studios, an Upper Montclair, NJ-based library
furniture dealership and interior design consulting company.
She volunteers her time to redesign and supply new furniture and equipment to local

Corporation located in Indianapolis. She is actively involved in the Big
Brothers/Big Sisters mentorship program, and received a 2008 Enterprising Women of

and service organization that serves bottlers and operators in the vending industry.
She is involved in The Workforce Preparation Program, a mentoring program at a
community college that prepares women to enter the workplace, and was a finalist in
